Signature Collection Campaign in Biratnagar

Two day signature collection campaign was organized by Youth Initiative in collaboration with Computer Association Nepal (CAN) Morang, East IT community and Leaders. The program was held in the information technology Expo at Jain Bhawan, Biratnagar. Under the theme Right To Information Act (RTI), the slogan of the campaign was "Information is my Right and ensure every Nepali people equal access to technology and information " (सूचना मेरो अधिकार हो, म लगायत सम्पूर्ण नेपालीको सूचना र प्रबिधीमा समान पहुंच सुनिश्चित हुनुपर्छ ।)

More than 10 thousand people including youth, civil servants, local political leaders, bankers who visited the CAN Info Tech Expo supported the campaign through their signatures . The Myagasse award winner Mahabir Pun also joined the campaign. Signatures turned out into a beautiful graffiti banner which was submitted to District Administration Office to hand it over to the Prime Minister.
